The God Box is Alex Sanchez (author of the Rainbow Boys trilogy) newest book. I read it in 2 days, just couldn't put it down. As usual Alex has written a very realistic portrayal of the problems and triumphs of gay teens. This time he tackles a very difficult issue, how to reconcile being gay with being Christian, and does a very good job of it. This book touches on various interpretations of the Bible verses commonly used to condemn homosexuality. Also talks about the "ex-gay" movement, gay teen suicide, violence against gays and much more. Let me know what you think if you have read it.
